For many people, holidays are a time of tradition with family and friends, but this time of year an add stress or sadness for those affected by dementia, said Jenna Fink, Helpline Manager in Minnesota.

You may find it helpful to talk about modifying special traditions so the person with dementia can participate, or seek emotional support in reflection of feelings of feelings of loss.
