A family and veteran owned business, Sojourn Suites is looking for full or part time candidates to fill the position as Resident Assistant to work in our 9 assisted living homes in Western Hennepin County. Our facilities have from 4-8 residents per location.
Available shifts are from 3 pm to 9 am and are sleep shifts overnight. This means you are paid hourly for all work hours and a flat $50 for the “sleep hours”. This position requires both weekday and weekend work (Friday, Saturday and or Sunday) and is not just a Monday-Friday position.
Candidates with HHA, NRA or CNA experience and experience in dealing with dementia and mental illness are preferred but we are willing to provide training where necessary. Please only respond if you have worked in this field previously and have at least one years’ experience in a caregiving role.
Salary range to start is $16.00/$17.00 hr depending on experience. We offer dental, short term disability, paid time off, payroll advance and flexible scheduling. We do not offer a medical plan.

Description: The program assistant will carry out and participate in programming, activities, and support in general to the clients at our adult day center. The program assistant will work directly under the Activities Director and work in collaboration with interns, volunteers, administration, management, and the owners to provide our clients with great days. The program assistant will encourage the mental, spiritual, emotional, and social growth of our clients.
