Getting Energized

Each Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, our clients participate in adaptive yoga and strength training, led by our certified and registered yoga teacher, Jennifer Hicks. Sessions include light weight exercises, the joint freeing series (designed for individuals with arthritis and other joint challenges) and both chair and standing poses.

All exercises can be adapted for all clients, including those in wheelchairs, and each session ends with the chance to sing and dance as we “Twist & Shout” together. Clients leave the group energized and ready for another Sojourn Great Day!
